Q& A’s – Day Care Center
The Education Station Day Care Center is a comprehensive pre-school facility providing care and education for children 6 weeks through 6 years of age on a full time basis.
This includes an all-day kindergarten program. Our facility is a private, nonsectarian, non-denominational, developmentally oriented program whereby each of our classroom are conducted by state certified or nationally recognized early childhood education professionals.

Q: Do you have an open parent policy?
A: Yes. Parents are welcome to visit and pick up their children at any point during the day. However, we do ask that you notify us ahead of time to minimize the disruption to our daily routine.

Q: What kind of emergency training does your staff have?
A: All of our full time childcare providers are required to have infant and child first aid and CPR training. Additionally, we have a “code red” evacuation procedure & approximately 72 hours of provisions in storage.
Q: How much is the tuition fee?
A: Please call for tuition information. Sibling discounts available.
Q: What time does your Day Care Open & Close?
A: The School operates from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM daily and observes the following Holidays:

Q: Do you accept Program for Parents?

Q: Is there a Late Pick-Up fee
A: Late Pick-Up Fee of $1 per minute after 6:30 PM with a minimum charge of $15. An additional $3 per minute after 30 minutes late will be imposed. Fee due at time of pick-up.
Q: Do you allow others to pick up our children?
A: Parents are required to maintain updated emergency information and persons authorized to pick up children. We cannot release children to anyone without authorization and identification.
Q: How often do we get updates regarding our child’s activities?
A: We send out weekly newsletters detailing the previous weeks learning topics, and what you can expect for the current week.
Q: Are your teachers certified?
A: Each of our ten classrooms is led by certified teachers. Overall, there are 14 certified caregivers on staff, including 3 with masters’ degrees.
Q: What is your caregiver: child ratio?
A: 0-14mos 1:2.5
Q: Do you have an outdoor play area?
A: ESDC has 5 different yard areas encompassing 12,000 sq. feet and divided by age appropriate levels. Our yards are professionally surfaced & completely secure.
