In our infant care program, we promote the development of our students’ perceptual-motor skills, where they are given activities that stimulate their visual, auditory, and tactile senses. Our programs also help develop their motor skills by allowing them to do free-play, integration, and directional awareness activities that encourage the development of their ability to concentrate on simple instructional games, as well as their body coordination.
It is important to properly develop these skills among children at this age because they are vital in helping them have healthy self-esteem and self-image as well as enhance their ability to learn.
